Rejoice! Rick and Morty IS Officially Coming Back for Season 4
Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland just officially confirmed the show's return for a season 4 on his Twitter. The show will be making its return to Cartoon Network's Adult Swim some time in the future…
Fans had been speculating about the return of the show, but no word had been released until today. The order is for 70 more episodes, which is a considerable show of faith in the incredibly popular show. The main mystery now is when the next season will air.
There was a considerable hiatus between seasons 2 and 3, but it's unclear how long the gap will be until we get season 4.
There was another more bizarre announcement featuring co-creator Dan Harmon, where Roiland and Harmon announce the news from Harmon's shower.
It looks like Adult Swim is excited about the news too.
