The Game Awards Teases a Major Fortnite Announcement

It looks like Fortnite has something big planned for The Game Awards as the show revealed something big is being announced on Thursday. The reveal was made on their official Twitter account this morning, claiming that we'd see a world premiere announcement involving the game.

For those of you who think this is about Season 7, that's a really easy guess and probably the default announcement for some. We're betting it's an announcement for when they'll officially announce the date for complete crossplay over all platforms. The company has been beta testing this since September, and while it is possible to set it up, it's not an automatic thing. We're guessing this will be the official reveal of when all those curtains will come down and you can play freely against anyone on any platform without having to go in and setup your account to do so. The only other thing on the horizon would be a major esports gaming tournament, which wouldn't be as exciting, but it would definitely qualify. We'll see what the news is come December 6th.
