Gatherers' Tavern Celebrates Drizzt Do'Urden with New D&D Statue 

Gatherers' Tavern is celebrating the 35th Anniversary of the creation of Drizzt Do'Urden with a brand new limited edition statue 

Drizzt Do'Urden is a widely known and popular Dungeons & Dragons character that is found in the Forgotten Realms campaign. He was created by author R.A. Salvatore, with his actual first appearance being found in the novel The Crystal Shard from The Icewind Dale Trilogy, published back in 1988. This year marks the 35th anniversary of Drizzt Do'Urden, and Gatherers' Tavern is celebrating with a very limited edition statue capturing the infamous Dark Elf and his faithful companion, Guenhwyvar. Everything about this statue is nicely detailed, featuring Drizzt's signature appearance, from his cloak to his dual-wielding scimitars. Gatherer's Tavern has included some swappable parts with two heads with hood-up and hood-down features, as well as swappable left arms for different scimitar positions. There are LED capabilities with Guenhwyvar, adding a blue glow to the display as they both stand on snowy/rocky terrain. Limited to only 399 pieces, this hand-painted Dungeons & Dragons Drizzt Do'Urden statue required a lot of coin with a $1,700 price tag. Payment plans and pre-orders are already up on Sideshow Collectibles with an August 2024 release,
