Godzilla Returns to 1993 with New Figure from X-Plus

Godzilla has had a lot of reincarnations over the years. From his classic look like the one from 1954 to more lizard stylings of Godzilla 2000 to even the more bulky and smaller head versions like the newest one from 2014. Each version of this beloved creature brings its own unique skills to the table and every fan has their favorite. This time X-Plus is bringing us back to 1993 to the film Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla II with a statue that is here to rock your collection. The team there has pulled this monster right off the screen with great detail. He is posed with his mouth open, arms pushed out, and some beautiful piercing orange eyes. The scales on this piece are nicely crafted and the attention to detail is perfectly executed that any fan can truly appreciate.

Godzilla comes to life with this figure and it definitely gets collectors up close and personal with the beast. One piece that I honestly didn't know is that he has two rows of teeth, which is neat and terrifying. This will be a nice collector's piece for any fan of the series and comes in at $185. This monster is set to be unleashed between August and October 2020 and pre-orders are already live and can be found here.

"X-Plus presents the Defo-Real series Godzilla (1993) Collectible Figure! Presenting Godzilla (1993), from Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II (released in 1993), a work that is also a celebration of the 40-year anniversary of the birth of Godzilla, as part of the TOHO 30cm series! The version of Godzilla that battled against Mechagodzilla, the anti-Godzilla weapon, is now in 3D. Leaning slightly forward, Godzilla has been reproduced in a form that allows you to feel his fighting spirit in contrast to the inorganic Mechagodzilla. Be sure to enjoy having this Godzilla(1993), which boasts of an overwhelming presence, by your side."
