Hasbro has crafted a few Star Wars: The Black Series gimmicks in the past, from Halloween and Christmas to Valentine's Day. Well, things are about to get more interesting as they have just revealed that new themed figures are arriving in May. In honor of Star Wars Day, a fan-favorite holiday inspired by the phrase "May the Force be with you", new special edition figures are here, including a quirky twist to a classic battle droid. The Force is strong with this B1 Battle Droid as he is here and ready for some target practice with a brand new soft goods t-shirt.
That is right, Hasbro has included a new "Roger Roger Robotics" t-shirt for this release that can be worn on the Battle Droid for some May the 4th celebration. The figure will also include a blaster and a "target practice" poster featuring the infamous Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker. It does appear that this droid's aim is slightly off, but some more practice could fix just that. This new Star Wars: The Black Series May the 4th Battle Droid is packaged in a sleek black-and-yellow window box with a "5.04" collector number. Collectors will only be able to find this figure at Target for $27.99, and it is set to be available in Spring 2026.
