Knight Rider Comes to SDCC 2022 with Hot Wheels Exclusive Car

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the hit 80s action TV series, Knight Rider. A lot of love is coming out for the series, like Fanhome's new massive K.I.T.T. subscription with lights and sounds. However, that is not the only Knight Rider collectible coming our way, as Mattel has unveiled an exclusive Hot Wheels K.I.T.T. for San Diego Comic Con. The 1:64 scale model captures the iconic Pontiac Trans Am with die-cast body and chassis. Hot Wheels really has some impressive SDCC exclusive collectibles each year, and this one shows it with its impressive packaging and features. Just like the real Knight Rider K.I.T.T., Hot Wheels made sure this version also lights up and includes its own charger. A slipcover package is featured with K.I.T.T. sealed inside with his own display case. Hot Wheels collectors will not want to miss this SDCC exclusive, and he is priced at $35. Pre-orders are set to go live on Friday July 22, at 1 PM EST right here. Be sure to check out some of the other Hot Wheels SDCC exclusives with Mario Kart, Marvel, and Star Wars.

"Ride into the retro sunset with K.I.T.T., the artificially intelligent supercar with a mind of its own. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of this 80's hit TV show, Hot Wheels created a 1:64 scale model of the witty, self-aware Trans Am that's programmed to protect. Just like the original supercar, this model features his iconic LED scanner light and a futuristic console interior. Colors and decorations may vary."
