Star Wars A-Wing Makes its Landing with New LEGO Set

The Star Wars day fans have been wait for, May the 4th is almost upon us. This day brings Star Wars deals and new collectibles to fans and we are all waiting to see what is in store. It looks like LEGO wants to give fans an easy head start to this event as they announce a new Star Wars ultimate collector series building set for May 1st. The Return of the Jedi A-Wing ship is back and is ready to take on the Empire as you build it from the ground up. The ship is a 1,673 piece set that features a new removable cockpit canopy. It is pretty big too as comes in at 16.5" long and 10" wide after fully built.

LEGO really captured every detail with this new set from the pivoting lasers to the engines with the thruster effect. This is more than the usual LEGO set as it is more of a nicely crafted display piece that any Star Wars fan would love to own. There is an included mini figure as well that can be displayed next to the plaque that is also included. The Star Wars A-Wing Ultimate Collector Series is priced at $199, which is not too crazy compared to other Ultimate Collector Series sets out there like the Death Star and the Millennium Falcon. Pre-orders do not go live until May 1st and you will be able to find the A-Wing located here.
