Ultraman Funko Pops Finally Come to America but at What Cost?

Ultraman Funko's are finally coming to America after all these years. I am honestly not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. I'm glad that us collectors can finally get our hands on some of these more elusive Japanese exclusive Funko Pops but it's almost unnecessary to get them as their value has plummeted. I have known a lot of collectors who completely dropped their entire Ultraman collections because their exclusive nature is no more. There are five figures in total coming in this wave three of them being Ultraman figures and the other two are monsters. All these figures have already been released and have been for quite some time overseas. They are available now at Barnes and Noble as they are getting a first to market release exclusively through them. However, in January we will see them get a completely open to market release of these characters. The idea of opening these figures to America was a nice thought but it did ruin the exclusive content that some Funko Pops carry. I hope this is not a new trend that we will see more of in the future. These figures are nicely designed and any fan of Ultraman should add them to their collection. With a Funko finally bringing these to America it is to wonder if we will see more Ultraman figures enter the world of Funko other than the previously re-released versions we are seeing today. Ultraman fans should keep their fingers crossed for more figures in the future that way we can keep the exclusive content of these figures somehow alive.
