Aaron Haaland of A Comic Shop in Orlando, Florida, writes,
Hey Fandom! It's me, Aaron, for A Comic Show! This week we have a few DC books, Some All New Marvel Now, and a slew of indy books. And there's four Rick Remender books this week if you count the 2nd print of Deadly Class #1!
Over at DC I really dug the Superman: Lois Lane One Shot, and I am historically not a fan. Ms. Bennett has now made me care about Lane and Joker's Daughter, sorry not sorry. Jae Lee is back on Batman Superman, and it is good, but full disclosure: you'll have to buy two issues of World's Finest to get the full story. Bottom line is either get the next two issues of WF or skip the #8 and #9 of Batman Superman.
At Marvel was have James Robinson's Fall of the All New Fantastic Four Now! I'm a huge Robinson fan, so I'll give him a few issues to build, but starting here I'm a little distraught that the Hickman era advancements seemed jettisoned in places. Hawkeye is back and better than eve, Superior Spider-man is fastly approaching the endgame, Wolverine #2 won me over a little, and Uncanny Avengers is just insane.
Rick Remender's Deadly Class #2 is my pick of the week, it's League of Assassians meets Hogwarts! If you missed #1 there's a 2nd print out this week to hunt down. Black Science #4 rounds out the first arc, who lives, who dies, and is everyone still an asshole? Find out here! Spoiler: everyone is still an asshole! Revenge(r) #1 was a darkly fun guilty pleasure kind of Avatarish book that's published by Image. I enjoyed it, but I do have a stomach for gore in comics that I lack in movies. Oh, and we got the Serenity vs Rat Queens battle in sales that we say in tweets last week!
