Alan Moore's Neonomicon To Be Collected With The Courtyard In September
September seems to be the month for high profile orginal graphic novels and sizeable hardcover collections of prestigious material. Alan Moore and Jacen Burrows' Neonomicon in harcover and paperback, incorporating the prequel Courtyard miniseries adapted from Alan Moore's short story, by Antony Johnston and Jacen Burrows.
Ostensibly a crime thriller about FBI agents investigating an occult cult, it uses structural aspects of the comic book medium to deliver a message about text, subtext and meta-test using some of the more shocking images and experiences imaginable.
