Amanda Waller continues setting up her role as the Big Bad of the DC Universe in 2024 as we learn more of her plans to, basically, kill off every superhero and supervillain in the DC Universe. And in today's Beast World Tour Of Atlantis, we have a proto-Suicide Squad going up against a monstrous Beast World version of Black Manta, with the aim of putting together a team to go against Task Force X.
Although even one of them is actually a double agent for Amanda Waller.
But just as they are turning into monsters in public, figuratively and literally, it is Amanda Waller behind it all.
And that includes the Garro starfish, here turning Dolphin into… a dolphin? A monstrous dolphin, of course. Of course, the events of Garro and his spores will be reversed. But the effect they will have on the DC Universe will remain, as with Knight Terrors, and the Pool Hall incident of Wonder Woman, the thread provided, or spun from existing cloth by Amanda Waller to turn everyone against the superheroes.
