Bob's Burgers To Become An On-Going Series From Dynamite
Dynamite had a hit with their Bob's Burgers miniseries last year, so bringing the title back as an on-going is the obvious choice and exactly what the publisher is doing this July. Based on the Fox animated television show the on-going series, like the mini, will feature creative teams from the shows producers and animators.
Loren Bouchard, the creator of Bob's Burgers, says, "We want the comic to appeal to fans of the show, and to that end, we strive to protect the tone, the heart, and most importantly, the characters, just as fiercely as we do when we're working on the TV show. If you enjoy the show and you don't enjoy the comic book, then we owe you a comic book, or at least an apology."
The new series of the Bob's Burgers comic book gives each member of the Belcher Family a chance to shine. Each monthly issue will include new installments of Tina's Erotic Friend Fiction, Louise's Unsolved Mysteries and Curious Curiosities, Gene's Rhymey Rhymes That Could Someday Be Songs, Linda's Attempts to Take a Nice Family Picture in Front of the Restaurant (And How It Always Goes Wrong), and Bob's Fantasy Food Trucks (If Money Were No Object).
A Bob's Burgers one-shot will be available to fans on Free Comic Book Day, May 2nd with the new series launching in July.
