Brett Ewins On Remand, Charged With GBH

We reported on this story last month. Now, Brett Ewins, charged with stabbing a policeman, and who was then hospitalised by that policeman, is now considered medically fit to stand trial. On Thursday he was remanded into custody until a hearing on the charge of GBH with intent at Isleworth Crown Court.

Ewins, artist on Judge Dredd,  Bad Company and writer/artist on Rogue Trooper and Judge Anderson was co-founder of the incredible influential and comic evangelist magazine, Deadline. He suffered mental issues however, which he channelled into a graphic novel anthology Machine published by Cyberosia.

There is also an independent investigation ongoing into police action in this matter.
