Bleeding Cool has been reporting this story for a while, but now Marvel have made it official. And it's happening this weekend.

Buy a Marvel digital comic through the Marvel Comics App tomorrow New York time and on Sunday you'll be emailed a coupon to be used in your local comic shop for Marvel print comics. If your local comic shop is participating that is.

But don't just keep it to yourself. Why not share the news with friends and family? That's the intention, to encourage people who don't frequent comic stores to pop in and see what's what.

Especially since some of the Marvel comics are available digitally for 99 cents. The voucher is valid for a month.

Currently 99 cent comics on the Marvel App include the Necrosha issues of X-Force or the the most recent Avengers #4. One per person and, yes, this only applies to American stores…
