Comics Get A Little Friendlier This May With The Return Of Casper

Who says there is no breaking comic news on Super Bowl weekend? Seems this May we'll be seeing the return of Casper the Friendly Ghost to comic shops thanks to American Mythology Productions. According to the cover image below by Adrian Ropp, Wendy the Good Little Witch and Hot Stuff are returning with the iconic comic character. Casper was created in the late 1930s by Seymour Reit and Joe Oriolo, as a children's storybook. It was later sold to Paramount Picture's Famous Studios animation division. The Friendly Ghost, the first Casper cartoon, debuted in 1945.

Casper joins AMP's Pink Panther and Underdog all-ages titles. And I hear there may be even more cartoon goodness to come.
