Things to do today:
There are a few tickets still available for tonight's comics creative workshop at Orbital Comics in London. It features Cecil C. Castellucci, musician and novelist began writing comic books for DC with The P.L.A.I.N. Janes in 2007, and has followed with Shade The Changing Girl, Sensation Comics, Green Lantern, recently launched Female Furies, and is taking over Batgirl in July, with a Snow White adaptation from Dark Horse to follow.
She also has teaching experience, speaking regularly at both schools and universities alike. And so tonight in London, she is running a Comic Book Writing Workshop at Orbital Comics, just off Leicester Square, for those both looking to hone their comics writing skills, or just starting out.
Tickets are £15 for the evening and the event begins after hours at 7pm. Castellucci will also be running a signing at the store from 6pm, open to all.
