Dark Nights: Death Metal Gets a Black Blank Cover and a 1:25 Doug Mahnke Cover (UPDATE)
These are usually much in demand for comic con season. Of course, how much of a comic con season we will have in 2020 is up for debate. But later today, DC Comics will inform retailers that they are adding a Black Blank Sketch Variant cover to the many cover variants of Death Metal #1 from Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo, already announced. And then to goose sales further, adding a Doug Mahnke variant cover, available one copy for every twenty-five standard covers that retailers order. Which should see Death Metal creep up next week's Advance Reorders list quite nicely.
