Desperately Seeking Herc #2 In The Marvel DCU (UPDATE)

The Marvel's DCU digital subscription service is one of the best legal digital comics deals going. Thousands of comics available at any time for a fixed monthly fee.

But there are a fair few holes that could do with patching and it seems to be run with approximately the level of editorial oversight one would expect of, well, Bleeding Cool.

Say for example, you want to read New Mutants? Would that be the 2009-present series… or the 2010-present series? The same comic is split into separate sections for some unknown reason. And no reason when you'd read the first to suspect the second even existed.

Similarly, the Alpha Flight series that started in 2011, or the one from 2011? Either way they both miss issues 2 and 7.

These aren't exceptional examples, this is pretty much the rule. As is stuff like the series Captain America And Bucky, bizarrely renamed Captain America and Hawkeye in digital. Good luck searching for that.

What will you find in Chris Claremont classics? Just Avengers #53. Written by Roy Thomas. Which X-Factor is which again? 223 and 224?

You can't seach by issue number, or release date. Possibly because the release dates are often missing or wrong. How would you know where to find these Avengers #127 and #137-139?

Also missing in action, or at least unfindable by anyknown means yet, are Fantastic Four 586, Avengers Academy 7, 10, 13, 14, New Avengers (current series) 8, New Mutants Forever 1 and 5, Herc 2, Captain America (current series) 1, Captain America (2004) 610, Alpha Flight (most recent) 2, Secret Avengers 7, 8, 11, 12, X-Men (2010-present) 6, Uncanny X-Force 4, Secret Warriors 23 and X-Factor 228. Also Avengers Prime stopped at issue 3 a year or so ago.

Anyone have any other really egregious examples to add to the list?

UPDATE: Wow. Since this was posted, the two missing issues of Alpha Flight and New Mutants Forever #5 have been added to the Marvel DCU.
