ECCC Gets Into Bed With NYCC

ECCCReedPOP is the organiser of a number of comic book conventions around the world, including the New York Comic Con.

And today it has announced that they are adding something a little closer to home to their portfolio, the Emerald City Comic Con.

ECCC was founded in Seattle twelve years ago by comics retailer Jim Demonakos and has grown to become one of the biggest and most important comic conventions in the calendar.

Whereas Wizard World has kept mostly to North America, ReedPOP has brought in shows in the UK, Germany, Singapore, France, India and Australia, this may be their first move towards a greater US presence.

The new arrangement will be in place by the March 2015 show.
