Exclusive: Mark Waid's 18 Tips For Creating a Fake Republican Parody Twitter Account
When we last checked in with Champions writer Mark Waid, he was feeling a little down after Donald Trump's victory in the presidential election, as were we all. After seeing some of his colleagues vow to avoid conventions in "red states" – states that voted for Trump – for the next four years, Waid decided he would attend those cons, but he would use his privilege to create safe spaces there. It seemed like a productive way to deal with his grief. But what has the 54-year-old industry veteran been up to since then?
Nearly a month later, and Waid appears to have made his way past denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance, reaching the rarely achieved sixth stage of grief: Twitter flame warring. It all began with some replies to the President Elect.
Unfortunately, Waid and Kiala's budding friendship was soon interrupted by a rude Trump supporter, Gregg "Greg" Lane:
