Faithless II #2 Bag Covers Up All Of The Wrong Bits
We've only just run a story on Dynamite Entertainment. Who last week had had to tell retailers to watch out for a photo variant cover to their new Bettie Page #1 comic book. They forgot to ship it with the promised black bag, that would have hidden her breasts from view on the stands. Well, something similar appears to have happened this week with Faithless II #2. The Faithless series by Brian Azzarello and Maria Llovet published by Boom Studios is an erotically-charged drama and has also been made available with 'erotic' covers, similarly bagged to hide and offending images from public view. But it appears that those entrusted with the bagging process reversed the procedure to that the back cover is obscured from view but the front cover, which generated all this fuss, is not. Part of a connecting cover by Tulay Lotay, here is a glimpse at the cover in question.
And the Faithless II #2 back cover that has now been hidden rather than the front cover.
Does anyone have any shots of the comic in question in the wild, as it were? Here is the solicitation…

And an accompanying synopsis of the Faithless series, if this has piqued your interest at all.
Faith. Sex. The Devil. Faith likes to dabble with magic. Her friends think it's cute—and not just a little off-putting, but it's part of her charm and her warped search for purpose in a world that makes too much sense. But she's a true believer and knows there is a power within her reach. She's right, of course. It just took a while for that magic, that temptation, that unknowable thing to find her… In short—Faith is bored as hell. And Hell has noticed.
Faithless II #2 is published tomorrow.
