Frank Miller Presents Mario Guevara & Alex Munoz for August 2023

Mario Guevara is from Penjamo, Guanajuato is the latest hoire from Frak Miller Presents for their Ancient Enemies comic book line.

Mario Guevara is from Penjamo, Guanajuato in Mexico and has worked on local comic books such as Delmónico's Erotika of Editorial Toukán, but also mainstream US comics, such as Ultimate FF for Marvel, Solomon Kane for Dark Horse, Lone Ranger & Tonto for Dynamite, Blood Rayne for Digital Webbing and The Victorian Undead: Sherlock Holmes vs. Dracula for DC Comics and Nevsky with Ben McCool from IDW.

Alex Munoz is a video games art director for the last eight years, and is also the artist on the graphic novel series Korubaku from Paquet, and artist on the animated series The Whistler.

Both of them were picked up by the Frank Miller Talent Search programme last year, and will be working on the Ancient Enemies spinoff comic spotlighting The First Responder in Frank Miller Presents' August 2023 solicits and solicitations. Dan DiDio writing the comic, Mario Guevara drawing the comic and cover and Alex Munoz drawing a variant cover. No visual yet, of course… they do like to play their cards close to the chest.
