Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns #2 Cover Goes To Auction, As Does A Near Mint Batman #1

lfHeritage Auctions are to put up for auction the original Frank Miller inked artwork for the cover to second issue of The Dark Knight Returns. A previous splash page from the series went for just shy of half a million dollars two years ago.

It's expected to go for over half a million dollars in August. They also have a Batman #1 in CGC 9.2 condition as well, with its first appearance of The Joker and Catwoman… and for that, the sky is the limit. Earlier this year, a similarly graded copy went for $850,000…
