Grant Morrison And Benjamin Marra's Beachhead Launches In Heavy Metal Magazine In Three Weeks
This is a glimpse of Beachhead, a new story by Grant Morrison and Benjamin Marra, appearing in the next Heavy Metal Magazine out in three weeks time, April 27th.
It's been a long time coming, this is the first issue of the magazine with Grant Morrison as editor-in-chief, though curator seems to be a more accurate title. Morrison told Entertainment Weekly in an article it seems that few have read, calling it "an old school sci-fi twist-ender" It's the only story directly written by Grant in the issue, though he promises to come "upcoming from me and my art collaborators are tales of randy starship crews in a non-dystopian future, anthropomorphic cat detectives with PTSD caught up in quantum-Satanic nightmares, a cut-up collaboration between David Bowie and William Burroughs, and a whole s— ton more."
Heavy Metal showed off all three covers and pages from other strips in the issue.
