Here's the Cover for July's Giant-Sized X-Statix #1

Yesterday, Bleeding Cool Rumourmonger-in-Chief Rich Johnston took time out of his French vacation to post not one but two stories about the imminent return of X-Statix by Peter Milligan and Mike and Laura Allred. Johnston's rumourmongering was so pervasive, Milligan was forced to go on Twitter and admit…

Asked for comment, Johnston would only respond, "le pip le pip."

Now, Marvel has posted the cover to Giant-Sized X-Statix #1 on their website:

Here's the Cover for Giant-Sized X-Statix #1

Giant-Sized X-Statix #1 is set to hit stores in July, making that a pretty exciting month for X-Men fans, since Jonathan Hickman's X-Men comics launch that month as well. What else does Marvel have in store for July? We'll be sure to leak it here before they announce it if they can. Stay tuned, true believers!

This July, the X-Statix are back and more alive than ever for the special one-shot issue, GIANT-SIZED X-STATIX #1!

Written by Peter Milligan with art by Michael Allred and Laura Allred—the creative team that originated the series almost 20 years ago—the fan-favorite mutant squad joins forces once again! But what new threat is so grave that only the most famous mutant celebrities can fight it? And who is the new U-Go-Girl?
