Valkyrie #5 is in stores from Marvel Comics next week, by Al Ewing, Jason Aaron, and CAFU, and featuring a great throwback cover by Mahmud Asrar and Matthew Wilson. In this issue, apparently, a hero will die. At least if the cover is to be believed. Check out the preview below.

Doctor Strange's soul is the prisoner of the Grim Reaper, and if he delivers it to the afterlife, he will claim the title of Valkyrie and Jane Foster will be screwed.

Jane catches us up on the situation.

As these two job candidates compete for their coveted position.

As the battle rages, Mephisto watches eagerly, ready to exploit the contractual loophole that could give the official trademark to Valkyries.

As Jane seems a bit overwhelmed by all of this.

Annabell Riggs is not impressed.
