Kasey Pierce and Sean Seal's Sci-Fi Comic, Norah, Optioned as a Movie

Bleeding Cool gets the word that the comic book Norah written by Kasey Pierce (Pieces of Madness, Seeress) and drawn by Sean Seal (The Rot) has been optioned as a movie. Four issues published so far last year by Source Point Press, its first collected volume is published this summer.

A dark surreal sci-fi, the titular character Norah has the ability to delve into the mind's eye of the comatose—retrieving them from their state or helping them cross to the other side. This ability was obtained while working in pathogenic development for the CIA, creating viral weapons for means of bio warfare. And described as a "heavy atmospheric slow burn".

Keeping in theme with the signature striking vector of its single issues, the softcover trade will once again feature cover art by illustrator/graphic artist, Jason Westlake.

The trade will be solicited in June and will feature sneak peeks into the production of volume two, being illustrated by Kelly O'Hara.

You might want to keep an eye on those four issues on eBay as well… they've been selling recently from $3-$5 apiece… but they are asking for a little more now.
