Kieron Gillen's JIM, SWORD, Young Avengers Return With Siege For Secret Wars With Filipe Andrade And James Stokoe

Newsarama get the Marvel PR for a new Secret Wars series Siege written by Kieron Gillen, with art from Filipe Andrade and James Stokoe.

Weve already seen on the Battleworld that a large wall known as the Shield keeps the most dangerous territories away from te more civilised. Such as the Age Of Ultron and Marvel Zombies.

And it looks like manning that wall are Abigail Brand and the characters from alien defense team S.W.O.R.D. as well as characters from his runs on Young Avengers, Journey Into Mystery and Uncanny X-Men. And Gillen describes the series as a thematic sequel to his own run on that book. And also to A Game Of Thrones' Wall…

Abigail Brand is joined by an eclectic cast for Siege, including Miss America Chavez from Young Avengers, Leah of Hel from Journey Into Mystery, Illyanna Rasputin from All-NEw X-Men, a medieval version of Kate "Hawkeye" Bishop, a number of UNITs from S.W.O.R.D. and an army of clones from Mr. Sinister called the Endless Summers.
