The Dawn of X continues to fill Marvel's publishing schedule back up with X-Books as New Mutants #1 hits stores this week, from Jonathan Hickman, Canada's Favorite Son Ed Brisson, Rod Reis, and more. Do we have a preview below? Yes we do!

It's a familiar cast of mostly OG New Mutants and some OG Gen-Xers.

And the preview opens up in space, where we find Magik in a heated duel with the Starjammers' Raza.

While the rest of the cast places bets on the victor.

But was the outcome ever in doubt?

After that, it's time to get down to space business.
