Marvel Unlimited Comes Into the Spider-Verse With Peter Porker: The Spectacular Spider-Ham

In addition to other classic comics joining Marvel Unlimited this month, Marvel has just added seven classic issues featuring Spider-Ham, one of the breakout characters from the hotly anticipated animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse. Spider-Ham, an anthropomorphic pig version of wall-crawling hero Spider-Man, burst onto the scene in 1983's Marvel Tails Starring Peter Porker, the Spectacular Spider-Ham by Tom DeFalco, Mark Armstrong, Joe Albelo, Steve Mellor, Rich Parker, and John Morelli, and soon came to star in his own solo series, Peter Porker, the Spectacular Spider-Ham by Steve Skeates, Armstrong, Albelo, Mellor, Parker, and others in two stories per issue.

As of today, Marvel Tails is available to read on Marvel Unlimited, as well as the first six issues of Peter Porker, the Spectacular Spider-Ham. Before seeing Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse this week, why not get up to speed on Spider-Ham so you can impress your friends with your obscure comics knowledge?

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
