Nicola Scott To Pencil Superman #3 (UPDATE)You were asking about prominent female creators working on prominent DC books?

Rather than the solicited continuing artist Jesus Merino working from George Perez' layouts, Superman #3 shipping later this month has instead be drawn by Nicola Scott, working from the same layouts.

Perez is quoted in Action Comics #3 today saying "Nicola Scott will be pencilling #3. She's working off the same layouts I would have done for Jesus, but she's working with a totally different art style. She's closer to my style, more in the classic vein, I can't wait to see Nicola's artwork."

Neither can we George, neither can we!

Merrino wll return in issue 4, and will be creating full pencils, with Perez no longer working on layouts. And we already know that Perez will leave after issue 6. Scott is also working on the new Justice Society book for DC with James Robinson.
