Nicolas Cage Buying A Million Dollars Worth Of Comics And A Ghost Rider Painting At Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con This Weekend (VIDEO)

Amazing Spider-Man #1. Fantastic Four #1. Hulk #1. X-Men #1. Tales Of Suspense #39 (First Iron Man). Journey Into Mystery #83 (First Thor). Some of the hottest Silver Age comic books that exist.

And being casually thumbed through by Nicolas Cage at this weekend's Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con.

Cage is a well known comic book collector, but after his mint condition Action Comics #1 was stolen in 2000, he seemed to have lost the bug and sold the rest of his impressive collection in 2002.

Now, it seems, he is back… and building it up again.

He attended the show not as a guest, but as a fan, and bought a number of these key Marvel titles.

He also spent the afternoon shopping on the show floor and in artists alley. He also spent $5,000 on a painting…

….yes, it was Ghost Rider, a character he portrayed in two movies, and bought a lot of original art…

….and Green Lantern rings.

WWE wrestler-turned-actor Sheamus was was at the con. A little more restrained, he bought some  Kenneth Rocafort Comics & Ponies merchandise for Bebop & Rocksteady. He's a big TMNT fan, and came out to see Kevin Eastman...
