October Faction Creators, Steve Niles and Damien Worm Launch "Grievling" From Clover Press in April 2020 Solicits
October Faction just dropped on Netflix -based on the IDW comic book from Steve Niles and Damien Worm. Clover Press is a new publisher created by the original founders of IDW. And just as IDW's first big hit was 30 Days of Night by Steve Niles, so Clover Press are hoping for a big hit with Steve Niles and Damien Worm's new comic book, Grievling. Just a two-issue series, here's the solicitation along with everything else Clover Press has out for April 2020.
From the creative team who brought you October Faction (soon to be a Netflix TV show), comes The Grievling.
Steve Niles and Damien Worm reunite to tell an all-new tale of supernatural revenge as Lily Baxter returns from the grave after she's killed by a gang of teenagers on Halloween night. But she's no longer just a teenage girl struggling to fit in, now she has the powers of The Grievling, and when she figures out how they work, the people who've done her wrong may live to regret it.
The Royal Book Of Oz is the 15th book in the Oz series. It's also the first book in the series written by Ruth Plumly Thompson.
Released in 1921, the book was originally credited as the last to be written by series creator, L. Frank Baum. Baum died in 1919, but the manuscript for The Royal Book of Oz was said to have been completed before then.
It wasn't until years later that the truth behind this book's origins were revealed.
Clover Press aims to celebrate the work of this forgotten female author with a brand new edition of The Royal Book of Oz featuring updated, all-new illustrations by Eisner Award nominated artist, Sara Richard. This edition also features an afterword by Eisner Award winning artist and writer, Eric Shanower.
