Oni Press to Sell ECCC Exclusives Online Following Coronavirus Cancellation

In a press release sent about a half-hour before ReedPOP announced the cancellation of Emerald City Comic Con due to coronavirus fears that prompted most of the show's exhibitors to pull out, Oni Press sent out a press release revealing that, due to the cancellation of the event, the publisher will sell its ECCC exclusives in an online popup store.

It's an interesting press release that must have been in flux, as the text of the release itself refers to the show continuing, while the headline references its cancellation. Check it out below:

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
