Pacific – A Mysterious Tale Inside A German U-Boat

You know what the comic industry doesn't have enough of? Submarines. I mean, how many graphic novels can you find out there that takes place on board of a German U-boat? The answer is, "not enough". This November, Titan Comics is putting out a new 96-page hardcover by Romain Baudy and Martin Trystram called Pacific. Baudy and Trystram co-write and co-draw the book.

The story focuses on a young radio operator named Udo who is newly assigned to the U-Boat. He carries with him a book that is banned by the Nazis. When the book is discovered, it's take to war hero Captain Kaleunt who tries to destroy it. But the book mysteriously reappears.

The OGN that's being described as 'Das Boot meets the Pagemaster' will hit comic shops on November 9th, 2016.

Below we have the cover and a couple interior pages. You can tell by them that the book is landscape oriented, which seems appropriate for a story done on a submarine. .
