Peter Abandons Aunt May in Surgery in Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #14 [Preview]
Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #14 is in stores from Marvel Comics next week, by Australia's Favorite Son Tom Taylor and Ken Lashley, and we've got a preview below, in which Spider-Man once again forgets his greatest lesson: that with great power comes great responsibility.
In particular, Spider-Man has a responsibility to his Aunt May, who has been battling cancer in this series. It's Peter's responsibility to stay by his Aunt's side and offer her support.
But not for the first time, we find Peter abandoning his aunt when she needs him most.
As Peter would rather put on a pair of tights and swing around the city than be there for his aunt.
Is the Shocker really more important to Peter than Aunt May? Apparently so.
Maybe Miles Morales plans to remind Peter where his responsibilities should be?
Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #14 hits stores on Wednesday.
