CLiNT Magazine #5 Cover With Mr Samuel L Jackson

The magazine has been delayed a month down to two strips, Kick Ass 2 and Rex Royd, but is expected to be available on the 27th January.

The British newstand industry can be quite strict about shipping dates and has been known to impose fines on publishers for missing certain dates. But it looks like we will see the completion of Kick Ass 2 #2 in CLiNT before it is published by Marvel.

And while Frankie Boyle is shown on the cover, in an interview feature, something Frankie very rarely gives, there's no news on whether or not his comic Rex Royd will be appearing in the issue in question. The interview might however reveal his reaction to negative publicity surrounding his TV show Tramadol Nights. And Garth Ennis, Amanda Connor and Jimmy Palmiotti's The Pro should have no problem in replacing it tonewise. There's also no mention of Jonathan Ross and Tommy Lee Edwards' Turf, also undergoing its own delays with Image Comics.

The issue will also have the debut comic strip Battle of Dansroom from Ryan Schrodt and Des Taylor.
