Hellboy Is Coming To Its End – Dark Horse At The C2E2 Retailer Breakfast

David Swallow and Peter G reported back from the C2E2 Retailer Breakfast this morning.

And they were all ears for the Dark Horse presentation,

Where they learned that new launch Rebels is going strong, that Brian Wood has big plans for the  current series, currently 10 issues long. That they were really happy with the turnout for Archie/Predator crossover, which seems to have outdone the Archie #1 reboot.

That as well as the newly recoloured Big Guy from Geof Darrow in October, they will also have reprints of the original Shaolin Cowboy story from France.

There will be more Strain comics after  the novel adaptations are done.

They talked about how the Fight Club FCBD comic uses novel ending, not movie ending (as did we this morning) and how the new series will continue after those events.

That there are plenty of new Matt Kindt books coming, that he is one of their favourite and most important creators…

That Abe Sapien #24 will starts to give Abe some of the answers he's been looking for.

And most surprisingly and sadly that Mike Mignola's Hellboy comic book is heading towards its end, though it is still some ways off…
