Online Comics Retailer Has His Guns Taken Away

Online Comics Retailer Has His Guns Taken AwayTwo weeks ago, Bleeding Cool broke the story that a blogger who had made a number of incendiary comments in the immediate light of the Arizona shootings, specifically "one down, 534 to go", was the owner and founder of Arlington-based online comics supplier Heavy Ink.

Naturally, those comments got a lot of play across the net, and their attachment to Travis Corcoran, a comic book dealer, made it more newsworthy.

Well it looks as if Arlington police were reading. Comic Alliance's take on the story, anyway.

According to Boston.com, police have begun an investigation over his comments, and in doing so seized a "large amount" of weapons and ammunition. Corcoran surrendered the items to the police at his home. and has had his firearms license suspended on grounds of "suitability."
