Sunday Trending Topics: Was Your Weekend Marvelous, or Wonderful?
As C2E2 came to a close a few hours ago, Joe Quesada tweeted "Thanks all for making it a great con. Because of your support, Marvel, once again, dominates." And just as I was pondering the validity of that statement, a BCer took us to task in the forums for Marvel-centric coverage of the show.  It's an interesting assertion on a weekend which was in fact dominated by a single DC character with bright blue pants, but that's probably besides the point… mostly.  Did Marvel dominate the show buzz this weekend, here and elsewhere?  If I have a little time in the morning we'll try to Comic Science the truth out of that.

Amanda Seyfried Has Auditioned For New Superman Movie

The timing has shaken out so that Amanda Seyfried is doing the international PR rounds for Red Riding Hood just as Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch is about to be released. This will perhaps appear a little inopportune as Seyfried talks openly regarding her casting in the Sucker Punch lead role of Baby Doll, before having to pass it up – and therefore loudly pegging the film's star Emily Browning as a "second choice."
