The True History Of The Lost City – Preview Frankenstein Underground #4 From Dark Horse
Frankenstein Underground is definitely one of the most accomplished stories that Mike Mignola has ever written, and I'm well aware of the boldness of that claim. Add to that stellar artwork from Ben Stenbeck, who seems perfectly attuned to the underground world he's creating as well as Frankenstein's Monster's own flashbacks and experiences, as well as Dave Stewart's intuitively balanced colors, and we have a rare gem of a series.
The fourth issue of five arrives this Wednesday, June 24th, and it's no exaggeration to say that Issue #3 opened up a whole new world of strangeness and uncertainty that Issue #4 is set to answer. I can't wait to see what this issue holds in store for us.
This issue is described thus by Dark Horse:
Deep underground, Frankenstein's monster is taken captive by the Heliopic Brotherhood of Ra. But while their master shares his story, the monster discovers the true history of the lost city and the powers that inhabit it.
