Starve #1 And #2, Now Free On Bleeding Cool – Food Horror Porn For All

Here is issue one of Starve.

Here is issue two.

This has been one of my favourite new books of 2015 from Image Comics, which is best described (by me at least) as Transmetropolitan meets Hell's Kitchen. Reality food TV in a future where it's even more of a luxury than it is now. And Spider Jerusalem is the chef ripped out of retirement….

I also discovered that this is a rare title in that it is not just owned by its writer Brian Wood, and its artist Daniejl Zezelj but also its colourist, Dave Stewart.

But here's what other folk say.

"STARVE is a perfect combination of smarts, style, and passion." – Comics Bulletin

"One of the boldest debuts of 2015… a truly outstanding comic book." – ComicBook.com

"A sharp character drama that examines America's increasingly bizarre relationship with food." – Comiconverse.com

"A select taste of brilliance" – Eat Geek Play

The collection of the first fiveissues is $9.99 and out in January from Image Comics.
