Titan To Translate And Publish Pierre Boisserie And Malo Kerfriden's The Rage
Titan Comics is at it again. Yet another European comic has been
announced – but like with all the previous ones, the news isn't coming
from Titan itself, who remains silent about this real avalanche of
books they're bringing from France.
It's the writer of the book, Pierre Boisserie, who breaks the news on
his official facebook page:
Unlike Denis Bajram's indecision on his hypothetical Universal War
deal with Titan, there's no hesitation from Boisserie: "La Rage sera donc traduit en anglais et publié chez Titan Books en octobre. You know what ? I'm happy", he declares after
announcing that his book The Rage, drawn by Malo Kerfriden, will be
out in October. He even posts a couple of mock covers for the
English edition.
A hard-hitting horror comic in the vein of Crossed or Walking Dead,
The Rage is the name of an apocalyptic plague that is turning all
children into blood-thirsty cannibal zombies who feed on the immune
adults. What to do? Exterminate them and watch the slow extinction of
the human species? France has decided to quarantine the affected in
abandoned villages, to keep the "disease" under control until a cure
is found, but it is not an easy task and certainly not to the liking
of everyone…
