From Vampire Victim To Chosen One, Crimson Vol. 1 HC Is Coming
From BOOM! Studios, written by, Brian Augustyn (Batman: Gotham By Gaslight), with art by Humberto Ramos (Amazing Spider-Man), comes Crimson Vol. 1 HC. Almost 15 years after its last issue was released, BOOM! will collect all 24 issues of Crimson into two hardcover volumes that will excite Ramos' longtime fans and attract those who are curious about his earlier creator-owned work.
For the first time ever in the prestigious hardcover format, experience Alex Elder's ascension from vampire victim to "The Chosen One," destined to bring about the end of all vampires! Collects the first 12 issues of the series. I've never heard of this series before, but I am drawn to the anime type art style that makes up the book. It's hard to get into vampire stories these days because I feel like the concept has been way overused over the past five years, however, this looks like an authentic intense one. I look forward to checking it out. Crimson Vol. 1 HC will hit comic shops on August 26th and bookstores on September 1st.
