Boom Studios has had the Buffy license for a few years now, as well as Firefly. They have published a number of spin-off comic books from Buffy, including the Angel & Spike series currently being published. Zac Thompson is a horror comics writer who has written titles like Marvelous X-Men, Yondu, Absolute Carnage: Avengers, Cable, and X-Men: Black for Marvel Comics, along with creator-owned books elsewhere such as The Dregs, Come Into Me, Her Infernal Descent, Relay, and The Replacer and the novel Weaponized. In 2019, Zac became the showrunner of the Age of X-Man universe at Marvel Comics.
Hayden Sherman is the co-creator of Thumbs and The Few from Image Comics, Wasted Space from Vault, and Cold War and Mary Shelley Monster Hunter from AfterShock Comics, as well as a little Civil War II, John Carter and Barbarella.
