Bandai Apologizes To Latin America For Dragon Ball Super Delays
Bandai has started to show off cards from the next official The Dragon Ball Super Card Game expansion. The March 2022 set is the sixteenth main set and the seventh expansion under the Unison Warrior Series banner. The set, titled Realm of the Gods (with its full name being Unison Warrior Series BOOST – Realm of the Gods) focuses on the deities of Akira Toriyama's universe. Confirmed focuses of the set include the Tournament of Power, the Champa Saga, the Future Trunks Saga, and Xenoverse material including Trunks Xeno and Mechikabura. As Dragon Ball Super Card Game prepares for the set's full release this Friday, March 11th, Bandai has posted an apology to Latin American players.
On the official Dragon Ball Super Card Game Facebook page, Bandai posted an explanation for lack of product in these areas for this past weekend, which was meant to be pre-release:
Hello DBSCG players in Latin America,
Currently, there are many logistical difficulties being experienced by global freight networks which continue to have an impact on our product release schedule. In certain areas, Realm of the Gods [B16] products may not be available by the pre-release date of March 4. For players, please contact your store directly for more information on this product release. For stores, please contact Coqui Hobby directly for more information. We sincerely apologize to our players and stores regarding the delay, and are working to get this product to you as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding.
Dragon Ball Super Card Game Team
This problem extended beyond Latin America, though, and was present in the United States as well. Hopefully, things will be running smoothly by Friday's release date for all stores looking to sell product.
