Bandai Namco Show Off The New Trailer For 'Code Vein'
Bandai Namco released their first trailer today for the upcoming RPG, Code Vein. The game uses weapon-based combat with a companion mechanic, which you can choose from "the various residents of Vein." The trailer itself paints out a metropolis-like city that's gone through some kind of hell with enemies that look about as unsavory and demonic as possible. Not that the two characters featured are fairing any better with alien tails and deformed hands that work as armor seem to be attached to them. According to BN's own press release from the game, the distant future is now "lifeless graves of humanity's past pierced by the Thorns of Judgment. At the center of the destruction lies a hidden society of Revenants called Vein. This final stronghold is where the remaining few fight to survive, blessed with Gifts of power in exchange for their memories and a thirst for blood." With any luck, everything we're seeing in the trailer is the gameplay we'll get in 2018, because this looks impressive. For now, enjoy the trailer!
