Checking Out Gaming Gear Options With ASTRO Gaming At E3 2019
During our second day at E3 2019, one of the first appointments we went to was to check out all the new gear ASTRO Gaming brought to the table. The first thing we got to check out was the brand new A50 Wireless Headset, which immediately caught our attention. This is the fourth generation of the model with a brand new base that shows what's going on with your headset right on the front with a display so you know if it's connected, charging, etc. This one comes with all new drivers, some new wireless radio technology, and the ability to customize your sound profile through their ASTRO Command Center. You also get the optimized Spatial audio options like Dolby ATMOS for crystal clear surround sound. You can currently pre-order this one for $300.
The second item we got to check out was a new update to their game controller with the C40 TR. This is basically an overall update to the look and feel of last year's model with some new features thrown into the mix. You got swappable stick modules, a set of remappable rear buttons, the same customization software options as the headset, wired and wireless options, and trigger stops. This controller has a 12-hour battery life and comes with a travel case for those of you who take theirs on the go for competitions and tournaments. This controller works for PC and PS4, and you can currently purchase it for $200.
