Get a Taste of Career Mode in UFC 3 from EA Games
Now you too can find out what's its like to become a pro in the UFC, without getting the rigorous training and the crap beat out of you. The latest video for UFC 3, which is set to be released on February 2nd, shows off the career mode in the game. Much like a lot of EA Sports titles, career mode takes you through the trials and hardships of becoming an MMA fighter and competing in the UFC, with the exception of being on their reality TV show. The game has managed to take a lot of elements such as training, fitness, cardio, move learning, financial success, and other traits that go into deciding who in the UFC gets to move up into a decent game experience.
The biggest issue that career mode for UFC 3 will have going for it is realism. It's easy for us to put ourselves in the shoes of aspiring NBA stars, or even as professional wrestlers playing a character, but the UFC is an entirely different beast. Can the game recreate what is usually a long drawn-out process with some moderate accuracy to make the entire attraction feel moderately authentic? Check out the trailer below and judge for yourself.
