The final trailer for Ninja Theory's upcoming psychologically driven action game, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, has hit — and it is pretty epic. We've seen quite a bit of Hellblade so far, but I've got to say, it just gets more and more intriguing the longer I look at it.

This last trailer features in-game footage, so gives us a decently accurate depiction of what the game will look like once it launches in just over a week. Granted, a decent deal of this trailer is not gameplay and looks to be from in-engine cut scenes, but hey, it still looks pretty damn awesome.

If there's any one thing to take away from the final trailer for this game, its that Senua's Sacrifice is definitely going to take some parsing before you figure out just what in the hell you've played. And that's always a cool reaction to have.

The story for this version of Hellblade is based on Celtic mythology and Norse mythology. The game follows Senua as she embarks on a very personal journey through a hellish underworld made up of psychotic manifestations of her mind. We're entering Senua's personal, literal hell, and it should make for one interesting ride.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice releases on PS4 and PC on August 8th. The final trailer is below.

All actual in-game footage
